Set for a\u00a0<\/span>June 15 release on Silvertone\/RCA Records<\/strong>,\u00a0<\/span>The Blues Is Alive And Well<\/em><\/strong>features guest appearances by\u00a0<\/span>Mick Jagger<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>on \u201cYou Did The Crime,\u201d\u00a0<\/span>Keith Richards<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>&\u00a0<\/span>Jeff Beck<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>on \u201cCognac,\u201d and\u00a0<\/span>James Bay<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>on \u201cBlue No More.\u201d Grammy Award winning producer\/songwriter and longtime collaborator\u00a0<\/span>Tom Hambridge<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>produced the album.<\/p>

The Blues Is Alive And Well<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>is the follow-up to Guy\u2019s 2015 critically acclaimed album\u00a0<\/span>Born To Play Guitar<\/em>, which debuted at #1 on Billboard\u2019s Top Blues Album charts. The album marked Guy\u2019s fifth #1 album on the chart and twelfth Top 10 Billboard Blues album.<\/p>

Career highlights include 7 Grammy Awards, 37 Blues Music Awards, Kennedy Center Honors, NARM Chairman\u2019s Award for Sustained Creative Achievement, Billboard Music Awards\u2019 Century Award for distinguished artistic development, Presidential National Medal of Arts, and induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame to name a few.<\/p>
